Difficulty Sleeping?
Are you having difficulty falling or staying asleep?
Has it been going on for months, years, or even decades?
No matter how long your insomnia has been going on—we can help.
Glasgow Sleep Clinic is pleased to offer our new two-part ‘Reclaim your Sleep’ masterclass. Reclaim your Sleep is delivered in a small group environment, online via Zoom. Two one-hour sessions will teach you the principles that could help you overcome insomnia and feel refreshed.
‘Reclaim your Sleep’ uses the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). These techniques could help you fall asleep quickly, reduce overnight awakenings and re-establish a regular sleep rhythm.
The vast majority of people who use these techniques see long-term improvements in sleep, with about half completely overcoming insomnia.
Reclaim your Sleep is delivered in two parts.
Each session is one hour in length and takes place via Zoom.
Sessions are limited to a maximum of 12 participants.
Part one focuses on
- The processes that control sleep
- The external factors that can disrupt sleep
- How short- and long-term insomnia develop
- A framework to start improving your sleep
Part two
- Reviews the progress since part one
- Focuses on cognitive techniques to deal with a racing mind and frustration when you are trying to get to sleep

Our CBT-I Practitioner
The course is delivered by our experienced and compassionate CBT-I practitioner, Dr Paul Jennings. Dr Jennings is a medical doctor and works as a General Practitioner (GP) in the NHS. He has been providing CBT-I interventions at Glasgow Sleep Clinic for the past two years.
He gained advanced knowledge in evidence-based treatments for sleep disorders while studying Insomnia and Circadian Rhythm Disruption through the University of Oxford. This academic background, combined with extensive clinical experience, has allowed Dr Jennings to develop a deep understanding of the complex factors that impact sleep and overall well-being.
Individual CBT-I
We are not offering individual CBT-I at present. Details of UK CBT-I providers are available at: https://cbti.directory/index.php/search-for-a-clinician/home-directory/browse-by/country?value=United+Kingdom
